Method
How we work
Seven steps from your first call to handover and the defects period after it. Where a step ends with something you hold, it is set beside the step.
The steps
- 01
Enquiry
Call, send a WhatsApp or fill in the quotation form. Tell us what you need, where, and by when. Attach drawings, a bill of quantities or a list if you have them.
You receive
A named contact at Elevion and a date for the site visit.
Proposed - 02
Site visit
We visit, measure, photograph and ask the questions a price depends on: access, ground, services, approvals.
You receive
Site notes, and a list of anything still needed to price.
- 03
Quotation
We price the work from the site notes and your documents, and list what the price excludes.
You receive
The line-by-line quotation.
Proposed - 04
Contract and programme
A written contract with payments tied to stages of work, and a programme with dates for each stage.
You receive
The signed contract and the programme.
- 05
Works
Mobilisation, a safety induction for everyone on site, and full-time supervision while work is in progress.
You receive
A monthly progress report.
Proposed - 06
Handover
We inspect the work with you, list anything to put right, close the list, and hand over.
You receive
The handover file: as-built notes, test certificates and warranties.
- 07
Defects period
After handover we come back to put right any defect that appears during the period written into your contract.
You receive
A defects period in writing.
Proposed
On site
Supervised full time, while work is in progress.
A supervision team is on site full time during construction, checking the work against the specification, the budget and the programme.
Safety
- A safety induction for everyone before they start on site
- Helmets, boots and high-visibility clothing for everyone on site
- Signs and flag controllers wherever work runs beside a live road
Quality
- Work checked against the drawings and specification
- Material testing on road works
- A joint inspection with you before handover

BIM
A model where it pays.
Building information modelling turns the design into data the whole team uses. It pays on buildings with many services in tight spaces, or where quantities drive the budget. Ask us whether yours is one of them.
What the model is used for
- Quantity take-offs from the model, for pricing at each design stage
- Visualisation, so you see the building before it is built
- Clash detection between structure and services
- Field layout: site logistics and the building's footprint
- Scheduling: sequencing trades and showing progress
Next step
Tell us about the job.
Send drawings, a bill of quantities or a list if you have them. Tell us where and by when.
We reply to every enquiry within one working day.Proposed
